Film and Media Studies examines a vitally important aspect of visual culture in the 20th and 21st centuries, namely the development of film, television, radio, and other electronic media as aesthetic and cultural forms. Like other areas of learning, the study of different film and media is broken down into more specific domains.
The Program in Film and Media Studies has moved to Harry and Susan Seigle Hall, located between the lawn bordering Olin Library and the Field House (on the west). We are on the 4th floor, which is marked "P" (for Penthouse) on the building's elevators. Our reception area is located in 400 Seigle, on the southwest wing of the 4th floor. If you have difficulty finding us, please don't hesitate to call our main office number at 314 935-4056.
