A Conversation with Universal Studios-based Producer and former Paramount Pictures Studio Executive Alison Small

What is it like to produce a major feature film? Film & Media Studies and Olin School of Business alum Alison Small ('04) returns to WashU to discuss her past experiences as an executive producer for Paramount and her current role as producer for Elizabeth Banks' company Brownstone Productions. She will focus on the producer's creative role as well as the challenges facing women in a male-dominated industry. A Q&A session will follow.

Alison Small is currently Senior Vice President of Film at Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions. She has worked on such projects as the Charlies Angels reboot, World War Z, Anchorman 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek Into Darkness, Nebraska and Jack Reacher.
