Some time ago I spent five days at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and I wanted to share a few thoughts that will perhaps be of interest to readers of this blog. For in Disney’s attractions, we see, in ways I had not anticipated, fascinating points of intersection between numerous phenomena I’ve often written about in this space: franchising, serial storytelling, world-building, and what might be called world-telling.
